1. When transporting the motor, it is not allowed to use a rope to wrap it on the shaft or on the collector ring or commutator, nor to lift the motor through the end cover hole of the motor.
When installing the motor, the motor with a mass below 100KG can be manually lifted onto the foundation; For heavy motors, cranes or pulleys, chain hoists, etc. should be used to lift the motor into position.
The foundation for motor installation must have a certain degree of stiffness. If it is not installed together with other machinery, both parties should use concrete of reliable quality as the foundation, and the installation surface should be flat. For motors that often require movement, suitable mounting structures should be used. The installation foundation does not have sufficient stiffness or the structure is unreasonable, which will cause abnormal vibration and noise during the operation of the motor, resulting in bearing damage, and serious personal or equipment accidents.
2. If there is a difference in the height between the motor and the driving machine, and it is necessary to pad the motor, the area of the gasket must be greater than the area of the motor's foot plane. When several pieces of gasket are required to adjust the height, the number of gaskets cannot exceed three.
3. When the motor is driven by gears, the installed gears should be matched with the motor, and the vertical and horizontal dimensions of the rotating shaft should match the dimensions of the installed gears. The installed gear and the transmission gear should be matched, such as module, diameter, tooth shape, etc.
4. When the motor is driven by a pulley, the diameters of the two pulleys must be matched and installed as required. It is not allowed to rotate the sizes incorrectly, otherwise accidents may occur. The two pulleys should be installed in a straight line, and the two shafts should be installed flat. Otherwise, it will increase the energy loss of the transmission device, and may damage the belt, or cause a belt detachment accident.
5. When using coupling transmission, it is necessary to make the shaft centerline of the motor coincide with the load shaft centerline. Sufficient clearance must be left between the coupling of the motor and the coupling of the load to prevent axial force generated by thermal expansion during the operation of the entire system, causing damage to the motor bearings and causing damage to the motor.
6. During installation, please ensure that all mounting holes are securely locked with steel bolts and nuts. Stainless steel bolts should be used in areas prone to corrosion, and shock pads should be installed in areas with high vibration.
7. Attention should be paid to motors with drain holes to avoid incorrect position. When the drain hole is open, it must be ensured that necessary protection is provided to prevent any object from coming into contact with the inside of the motor.
